from this project this week i learned all about all the different types of memories...i also learned how my teache teaches...hmm wait she DOESNT she uses the internet and some one elses stuff....dissapointiong...
This week, I have learned that students, or should I say SOME students have learned how much TIME and EFFORT goes into planning a lesson along with a FUN activity AND creating a test or quiz on your OWN! And even using the Internet or outside sources can take hours to incorporate into a lesson. They say that you learn the best when you teach it to others so hopefully YOU ALL will get out of this what you put into it. You all had to create a 15-MINUTE lesson and activity. Can you imagine organizing an hour and a half lesson for FIVE DAYS IN A ROW! AND.... making it as fun, educational, and interesting as humanly possible? I think you guys are learning more from this assignment than they think... GREAT JOB GUYS and KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! :)
i learned that its not easy as it looks to be a teacher some ppl say its fun but its not to me i really dont like it im just doing it to get a grade. and its really hard and takes alot of planning. so i'll just let the teachers do there jobs and i'll remain as the student haha
I have learned that it takes a lot more effort than I thought just to plan a 15 minute lesson, much less an hour and a half. This was actually something I found out last semester in Teacher Cadet. I liked the project for the most part and I don't believe I would change anything.
i learned how annoying it would be to be a teacher. we had 2 days to do this and it was still hard to pull off on time. i could only imagine having to do this for every lesson...
anywho. theres nothing that i would realy change about this whole thing. it basically gives out everything that could be most helpful to learn by.
I learned alot about social relations and stuff. It was pretty easy doing all the lesson stuff and activity, doesn't seem like it would be too hard to do as a job to me. thats all :)
my topic is Motivation. So i learnered about motivating yourself and others. Also about hunger and eating disorders and all that stuff. It was a fun project I think.
Planning a lesson takes time and some concentration. With the new technology it is easier than it used to be. If you follow the book it already has most of the work done for you. Our socialization is dictated by our environment, culture, situation, and biology.
I think that it is going to be difficult teching a lesson because I never taught one before. My topic is on thinking, language, and intelligence and their is a variety of information to teach from.
I have learned a lot about alcohol. It inhibits brain function at .01 BAC. I also learned how much time and effort it takes to make the lesson plans for a single day much less 90. It really makes me appreciate what you do.
I know that teachers put A LOT into their lesson plans. It's very time consuming when you are trying to plan everything out. I have learned a lot about emotions while I was working on my lesson.
Also, when you teach a lesson, you are useing other peoples work. You use their activities, some of their examples or notes, and their ways on explaining things. So yeah teachers look stuff up online and use it. . thats what the teacher websites are for. . and the BOOKS are for. . teachers dont have little computer chips programed in their brains with everything in it. . they start off with what they know and then look stuff up to try and make it fun. I guess what I'm trying to say is that. . so what if a teacher uses the internet and stuff from other teachers. . its NOT DISSAPOINTING. . its TEACHING !
Kelly how could not have noticed before this week i thought it was pretty obvious maybe I'm just observant... who knows but it doesn't matter anyway
I learned this week that it is pretty difficult to teach and although i procrastinated a lot sorry I will probably have too long of a powerpoint. I wouldn't change anything except to possibly lengthen presenting time
i think ive learned a lot this week from my project. my topic is very interestin and it was fun trying to plan a lesson. i know we are crunched for time but i wish we had had more time to work on these. maybe not work on them in general. more like more time to present them. i feel really rushed to do this project but i know we are runnin out of time. but other than that i really like this project. i like teachin the class.
i agree with cassey i do feel rushed with this project but i leared that i dont want to be a teacher. i did not like having to rush to do all the things we needed for this project but whatever i did it anyway
i feel really ruched with this project. but i learn how much goes into one of your lesson. ALOT!! and i leanr alot more about a subject when i know i have to teach someone who didnt study it and read the same material as me so i can make them understang d too
I learned about observational learning and about how there's pro-social and anti-social behavior. Something I would change about this project would be the time given to prepare. It would be better if we had more time to prepare. Overall the project is a good activity for the class.
i learned that its not as easy to be a teacher as it looks. yall come into class every day with a new lesson plan and new activities. most of our class had two days to make up a plan and all of us didnt finish in two days.
i learned from this project that teachers don't have near enough time in a day to do all of the things that they have to do for their job. We had two days in the library to do just one lesson and i felt really rushed to get it done. i also learned that there are many different ways to learn something.
In case you didn't know, i haven't yet completed my teaching project. But I am sure that it will be tedious and essentially not fun. this is why i don't want to be a teacher.
I have learned a lot this week. I never realized how much time and effort goes into planning a lesson. it shocked me. It was interesting learning about my topic. Like, learning all about the different drugs and stuff.
I agree with Hannah though, I want to take a nap too :)

i learned that its a lot of work to put together a lesson plan. theres a ton of time and effort that goes into a 90 minute class.
i have learned that a lot of thinking relies on language. i wish i would of got a different module. and i like my activity.

In my project I have learned about all the different effects of stress, and how they affect our body.
